Honey Tahini Candies (~24 large or 48 small)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup tahini
(1) Grease a couple of candy moulds and set aside. (2) Place sugar, honey and water in a small saucepan and stir to combine well. (3) Bring sugar mixture to a boil. (4) Place candy thermometer in mixture and boil, stirring just enough to prevent excessive bubbling, until it reaches 295 degrees F. (5) Remove from heat and stir in tahini. (6) Pour mixture into candy moulds. Let cool at room temperature until completely cooled off and hardened. Pop out of moulds and store in an airtight container.
